I offer services in person in Rye, NY, or online. We can determine together which would be most appropriate for you.
-
Currently, I offer in-person and online individual, family, and couples therapy.
Pending interest, I have the capacity to offer online groups (most likely DBT or DBT graduate groups).
Professional consultation or supervision services are available upon request.
-
If you are interested in working together, I offer a free 15-minute consultation call or Zoom meeting so that we can get to know each other a bit to see if this might be the right fit. However, this is not a requirement, and you are welcome to book an intake appointment with me directly. Most intake appointments are scheduled for 90 minutes, and we can adjust based on availability. I will send you paperwork through the online portal once you have your first appointment booked.

When we first start meeting, we will work together on identifying what you want to get out of therapy. Sometimes this is concrete goals, like having less of a certain symptom, and sometimes this is an overarching pattern, like processing a past trauma. It’s important that we are on the same page and that I fully understand what is going on before we embark on a specific plan. Then, once we both have a solid shared understanding of how we will work together, our sessions might have more structure or predictability as we work together toward your goals. Depending on your goals, therapy might last a few months, a year, or you may want ongoing support for a long time. Typically, we will meet weekly for 45 minutes. If you would like to meet less often because of progress you’ve made, logistics, or both, we can work that out together. Throughout the process, we will evaluate what is working and what isn’t so that we can make sure that you are getting the most out of your care. If we determine that help outside of our sessions is needed, like a group or specific type of treatment that I do not offer, or our therapy is not working for you, I am more than happy to make appropriate referrals.

Though I do not take insurance, I am an out-of-network provider. I provide a superbill every month that includes the codes needed in order for you to receive reimbursement from your insurance company. Please check with your insurance company to see what out-of-network benefits are offered. Common codes used include 90791 (intake appointment), 90834/90837 (individual therapy), 90847/90846 (family therapy).

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
